For over six years, Michael served as a Senior Finance Manager for Bridgewater Associates, LP, the world’s largest hedge fund.  As Head of Finance for the Technology Department, he directed its Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”), Reporting, Accounting, Sourcing, Procurement, and Payment functions.   As Senior Manager of Finance Technology, Michael led the Finance Department’s 3-year strategic transformation, including the selection and implementation of Workday as the next-generation ERP system for the company.

Michael has also served as CFO for several technology start-ups, completing a variety of funding rounds including venture capital, “angel” financing, convertible debt, and a rights offering, in addition to closing a number of corporate acquisitions.  He successfully led Javelin Technologies from its initial start-up phase to its successful sale to NYFIX, a public company.  Michael went on to serve in the Office of The Chairman of NYFIX, where he was named to the Board of Directors of Madrid-based EuroLink Network.  Michael has also served as CFO for Root Markets, an online exchange founded by mortgage pioneer Lewis Ranieri.

He began his career in the Entertainment industry as the Director of FP&A for both Paramount Pictures (Motion Pictures, TV, Theaters and Corporate) and Warner Brothers (Licensing and Merchandising).  He next rose through the ranks to become CFO of the financial advisory firm Avatar Investors Associates Corp. where he served for over seven years.

Michael and his wife Jennifer have lived in Montclair, NJ for the past 20 years, where they are raising their two children, Evan and Catherine, as well as a yellow lab named Taylor.  The Chaladoff family is actively involved in The Kortney Rose Foundation, dedicated to finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for pediatric brain tumors.
